If j install Mojopac in a Italian Win XP pro, all the links to files of the folder "Program Files" are invalid and the programs don't run (IE, Outlook Express, same games, Messsenger, WordPad, etc.); in Italian Win XP these files are in the folder "Programmi".
Thanks

Hi frenkys,

Thanks! for letting us know this. We tested on a number of non-English Windows installations for basic compatibility, but this is the first time I've seen an issue like this brought up.

I'm going to ask one of the team to try and find a workaround for this issue and will post here if we can identify something that will help.

I have the same error with my Portuguese Windows XP... the folder C:\Program Files in portuguese is C:\Arquivos de programas... because of this I can't run programs like IExplorer. :(

Sorry about that, I had a talk with our development team about the issues at hand regarding alternate language packs and they are for sure not being ignored.

We currently do a majority of our testing on English versions of Windows XP. However our development team is aware of the issues involved with alternate language packs particularity issues involving the 'Program Files' directory, especially because the fix for this will also effect how MojoPac responds to alternate windows installations. We are debugging a fix that should solve most of them. Hang tight =)

I plan on using my Mojo alternately with an English XP MCE desktop and an Italian XP Pro laptop. It won't work with Italian?

I need to use it later on a Chinese version of XP Pro as well.

OnePiece, I'll second that. I'd love to know, too. Basically, they just flip a setting, but probably don't want to due to space requirements if they gave us that option. <sigh> ... It WOULD be nice, though.

Happy Holdiays Too!

Will you ever set MojoPac to $30?

Or will it for-ever remain at $50

I have the same problem.

Mi XP is in Spanish, and "Program Files" is "Archivos de programa". When I boot mojo, the icons "Internet Explorer", "Outlook Express", "Messenger" don't appear correctly.
When I make click in some of them, the system doesn't find the path.

Is it possible to change the path? does some type of configuration file exist?

Not need to translate the mojopac system. Simply that mojopac works.

I have bought two licenses of this program because it is very useful for me.

When I have tried to install Office 2003, the system has given me an error, something similar to "the route it is too long."

Apologize for my English.

The translators on line don't work very well, XD.
If I put "Lo siento" (something similar to "Excuse me") the translator answers me "I sit down it". XDDDDD

Thank you. Bye.

Hi,

I set up my MojoPac on a Dutch XP and every day I carry it with me to my work, where I have an English XP. I have no issues at all, everything works without any language-related problems. The only thing is, at work everything under MojoPac is in English, at home everything is in Dutch. No problem. But what happens if I run my Mojo on Luicio's Italian XP - I'll probably get Italian, right? It seems to be one of the things MojoPac hijacks from the host PC, but this is rather contrary to the idea of always being within your own familiar environment. Or am I missing something here?

My original PC (where I installed Mojo from) is English XP MCE edition. My GF has Italian XP laptop (purchased in Italy). Last night I hooked up my Mojo drive, started Mojo, and it was in English, and everything worked just fine. WoW, Open Office, Firefox... However, the host PC was installing Adobe 7.09 update, and I got a bluescreen reboot.

Spiderx,

Can you please do a 'Send Report' from MojoPac. Please ensure your name is included in the report and we shall take a look into it.

The issue is related to the non-English version of Windows OS which is not supported currently. We are planning on supporting internataion version of Windows OS in the future, but do not have a set schedule yet. You will be notified once the fix is available if you subscribe to our mailing list.

Hello,

I got a solution to install the Microsoft Office in a German Windows XP.
What you need to do is to change some of your registry settings:

All occurences of ProgramFilesDir which is set in MojoPac to C:\Program Files and CommonFilesDir which is set to C:\Program Files you have to change into your local counterpart. In German Windows this would be
ProgramFilesDir=C:\Programme
CommonFilesDir=C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien
After these changes I could install Office 2003 without problems.

We appreciate your technical aptitude in trying to figure out to install the Office Application in German version XP. It will be helpful for other users also.

Well How did you do that? In my 1.8.0 instalation i can change the name of ProgramFilesDir but it will not be registered. When i go back inn via regedit I find good old PROGRAM FILES in stead of the Norwegian "Programfiler". (Edited: It does work when altered in an en-US XP!)
I am trying to install a RAD called CCS4. This works fine in the english version. But when moving it to a norwegian XP version the program cannot load the nesessary object modules.

(This should be possible to translate in an array or something. If you need the Norwegian terms - I will be happy translate them.)

Any way it works just fine on an english XP - and only in english - wich makes this a sort of local program:) I envy all you EN-US computing guys - to bad the rest of the world cannot participate yet.
