I was using MojoPac (Freedom) yesterday at work with my laptop. MojoPac was up and running, but I had my Host PC active.

I went to a meeting and left my laptop at my desk. My corporate IT has our user accounts time out and lock after 15 minutes of inactive use...

After coming back from my meeting, I logged back into my account (from a locked state). Then I noticed I didn't have a START button on my normal taskbar. I also noticed that my mouse and keyboard were unresponsive after logging back into my account.

I finally had to do a hard boot to get everything up and running again. I have not had this issue before using MojoPac.

Has anyone encountered this type of issue?

Does anyone know how to fix it?

TIA...

Mark

This issue seems to be due to the corruption of Power Management settings on the host PC. To isolate the issue, I recommend you to re-install the Power Management on the host PC. To reinstall Power Management in Windows XP, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, select Control Panel, and then choose Performance and
Maintenance.
2. Click the System icon to open the System properties window.
3. Select the Hardware tab and click Device Manager.
4. Click the plus (+) sign next to System Devices.
5. Right-click the ACPI Fixed Features button and select Uninstall.
6. Restart the system.

On restarting the system, Windows will automatically detect and install
Power Management on the computer.
