Hiho,
has anyone of you successfully installed MojoPak on a Windows XP with installed ServicePack 3 ?
I've tried it on two machines and both times it canceled with an error. On SP2 machines, there are no problems...

I opened a case and the service team is aware of the problem. They will fix it in the next release of MojoPac which will come shortly...

I originally installed Mojopac on an Windows XP SP2. I installed SP3. Immediately I had the following 2 problems.
1. No Sound
2. Frequent Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).
The following seems to have solved these problems.
1. - On the Host, go to Windows Explorer -> right click on USB device drive (e.g. I: drive) -> Properties -> Tools -> click on "Check Now..." button in "Error Checking" section.
- Select both "automatically fix file system errors" and "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" option -> Start
When it is completed, the tool will report any problems that were fixed.
2. On the MojoPac drive, run "chkdsk : /F /X" on "Start -> Run" prompt to correct error errors.
3. Download and installed (over-write) the latest version on MojoPac.
Good Luck,
Bob

Remilk, thanks for the valuable workaround which will help the other users to solve the SP3 sound and Blue Screen of death issues.

:D
Following the three steps above appear to have corrected my problems.
I ran under Mojopac for 12 straight hours with multiple apps running simultaneously; these included MS Office (Word and Excel), Frontpage, IE Explorer, Firefox and Portable Apps Menu and various Portable Apps. With these several of these apps running, I also switched to Host Mode to burn a CD using Windows Media Player 11 and to watch videos on MLB.com. I encountered no problems. I left it on overnight and resumed the apps on Mojopac for 4 hours, and I still had no problems.
I need to figure out what add-in I need so I can view MLB content under Mojopac; not a big deal as I just switch to Host to view.
I am running this on a Dell Insprion 600m with only 512K memory. Mojopac is on a Maxtor One-Touch 110g.
This is my experience, yours may vary.

Thx for the workaround,
but it won't help on a fresh SP3 machine. Hope they will fix it soon...

I read about a new version 1.8.2.0 of Mojopac
Does it address the SP3 issue?

In MojoPac 1.8.0.0 Freedom or Deluxe versions, users are not able to access a mapped drive using SUBST command within MojoPac. 1.8.2.0 patch is a fix to address this issue.

I've installed mojo using 4 diferrent machines with SP3. No problems during the install. However, if you've read my previous posts, it seems SP3 breaks
the spooler service (at least in my case). So I can't print. I installed on a SP2
machine and could print, then the machine downloaded and installed the last security patch from Bill and printing is broken again. I can print a test page from SP2 with the printer printing directly to the printer. I just can't print a document from say, Word. Hopefully, Mojo is also working on this.
Also, where can one get this patch, I don't see it listed as a download?

I am receiving this error message "Unable to create new desktop".
My host machine is running XP Pro SP3 and I installed mojo on my WD one terabyte external harddrive. I know that I have administrator rights on the host pc so what shall I do from here? Thanks,

To isolate the issue, connect the drive to another PC and see if the issue persists.
