View Full Version : Can't select all of my printer

I have a number of printers installed on my host machine, all of them are network printers but are assigned to a "local" TCP/IP port. All of these work without a problem on my host machine.

I normally work with my printers "offline". This allows me to print a number of things as I'm working, and then bring the printer "online", they print and I only have to make one trip to the printer. I also use this to segregate personal items to print at home versus work items. Another use is to print when I'm not connected to any network and not loose any work.

My problem is that my "default" printer was offline when I started MP. When I try to print in MP, I get the message telling me that I need to select a printer in order to print, however the "print" button is greyed out (disabled) for my default, as well as a number of the other printers.

Per the KB, and other posts I've read, I shut down MP, changed my default printer, and I even brought it online. Then I restarted MP. I still could not choose the printer I wanted to as the print button was disabled.

MP seems to have "latched onto" the first online printer in on my host system and would not let me select any other printer. I could print to that printer whether it was online or offline even though it was not my default printer.

Does anyone have any insight as to how to resolve the printer problem?

Could you please install the 1.8.2.0 version sent to you by the support team and check the functionality. I also recommend you to enable the PDF printers.
