Hi,

I have been happily using Mojopac since December but it has recently stopped working.

I have it installed on a Kingston DataTraveller 2Gb Flashdrive. I have mainly used it on my work laptop which is running XP but installed in a non-standard location. Everytime i ran Mojo on this PC i would get the following warning message:

You are running MojoPac on a host PC with Microsoft Windows installed in a location other than C:\Windows. Some applications, like Microsoft Outlook, may behave inconsistantly when moved to a host PC in a non-standard location. If you notice an problems, please check the FAQ on the MojoPac.com Forum for a workaround or contact MojoPac Support for assistance.

The majority of the time it would launch correctly but occassionally fail. The Mojo Background would launch but the host task bar would reappear with a mojo item on it with the message "Unable to create Desktop" (as shown in the attached screen shot).

Normally i would re-start my computer and relaunch Mojo and get a prompt to run checkdisk. This would run and Mojo would launch successfully: a bit of a pain but livable.

Now however every single time Mojo lauches this happens no matter how many times i retry it or how many times checkdisk runs.

It works fine on other PC's but that isn't much use to me. Also, strangely it does work if i launch it while my laptop is connected to my work LAN network. (my network at home is wireless).

I have tried re-installing Mojo on the device to no avail.

Sorry if this has been a bit rambling but i wanted to provide as much info as possible. Any help you can proved would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Banco

Could you please disable unwanted program's running at the backend by using MSConfig utility on the host PC. You can access the MSConfig utility by following the below steps:

1) Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box opens.
2) In theOpen field, type msconfig, and then click OK.
3) When the System Configuration Utility dialog box opens, click the Startup tab.

Remove the checkmark in the box next to all known unnecessary programs by clicking the box next to the program. Do not remove the check marks of Windows system files or Ringthree directory files or unknown application files.

4) When PC prompts to restart, Click yes.

NOTE: After restarting the PC, a message will be displayed, select the check mark beside "Don't show this message or launch the System configuration Utility when windows start" and click Ok.

This should resolve the issue.
