How It Works

With MojoStation, IT managers can build a secure, optimized digital MojoPac image that employees download from a centralized corporate web site to their desktop. By clicking on the image, workers transform their home or personal Windows PC into a secure, managed digital workspace, complete with support for corporate security policies. Policies can be established to prohibit the copying of sensitive information to or from external devices, or to require encryption of all files and data. MojoStation can be configured to completely encrypt the user desktop and is always isolated from the host computer.

This means that all work and vital information remains secure. In the event that an employee leaves the company, MojoStation can be disabled remotely, prohibiting former employees from accessing, sharing or corrupting proprietary information. MojoStation’s security and centralized management capabilities make it particularly well suited for the telecommuting, branch or remote office workforce.

Easy, Economical Desktop Provisioning

Provisioning PCs with applications, configuration, settings and security policies for new employees is a major cost for IT departments. With MojoStation, the costs associated with provisioning PCs to employees, consultants, and contractors can be reduced by $400 to $3000 per desktop. IT administrators create a fully-provisioned gold image that an employee can retrieve and use as their own. No installation is involved. The employee or contractor launches and runs MojoPac on any PC. For an employee, this can be an out-of-the box PC sent directly to them without IT even touching it. For a contractor, it can be their own PC or a minimally provisioned spare, assigned to the contractor for temporary use.

Superior License Management

De-provisioning a PC is just as easy. There is no worry about employees or contractors leaving the company and taking software licenses with them. MojoPac permissions can be terminated and the licenses freed up to be used by other employees. Contractors will be locked out from the enterprise’s applications and resources without affecting anything else on their own PC.

According to the research group's new report, "Datagate: The Next Inevitable Corporate Disaster?", the average cost of a data leak incident is $1.82 million. The report surveyed 1,400 IT decision makers across the globe. All totaled, 60 percent of those surveyed said they experienced a data leak last year, and only six percent could state with certainty that they had no data leakage problems in the past two years.
